DTS has announced two new software packages used to prepare audio streams for next generation and current optical disc media formats, the DTS-HD master audio suite and the DTS surround audio suite.

The DTS:X Encoder is a professional, stand-alone Mac-based application that allows users to produce immersive DTS content for Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray, as well as file-based and streaming media.
